Check your schedule. The newest module of the Global Command and Control System-Maritime lets Navy users maintain ship schedules online.

But don't go to the Web to look for WebSked. Like all GCCS applications, it runs only on the Defense Department's Secret IP Router Network.

Steven G. Bullard, a product development manager at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, said WebSked will be deployed by the Atlantic Fleet in June and by the Pacific Fleet later in the summer.

The system will let the Navy maintain authoritative data on ships.

Under control. The Military Sealift Command headquarters in Washington has set up a data management system for its engineering manuals.

Bamboo Solutions Corp.'s WD3 product manages drawings, manuals and other documents needed to maintain the command's ships. The Herndon, Va., company's system is accessible via the command's intranet.
