FAA awards CSC a $10 million security contract

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a $10 million, two-and-a-half-year contract to Computer Sciences Corp. to secure all FAA information systems. The contract, effective June 6, has a one-year base period and 18-month option period.

CSC will help FAA's Office of Information Systems Security plan, coordinate and implement safeguards within systems comprising the National Airspace System, which handles air traffic control across the country.
