Air Force finds two stolen notebooks

Two notebook computers reported stolen from the Central Command in Tampa, Fla., a joint command overseeing the war efforts in Afghanistan, were recovered earlier this month.

The service last week had in custody a suspect that it identified only as a member of the military with access to the secure area where the notebooks were kept. The computers were found in a private residence, authorities said.

A motive has not been determined, said Maj. Mike Richmond, a spokesman for the Air Force's Office of Special Investigations.
