Top federal IT talent continues to migrate to the Homeland Security Office at the White House. Deborah Diaz, associate administrator for the General Services Administration's E-government Solutions Support Office, will join the office Oct. 28 to help create a Web presence, a GSA spokeswoman said last week.

Diaz shepherded the Firstgov portal through its first two years of development. She joins Treasury Department CIO James Flyzik, NASA CIO Lee Holcomb and former Federal Emergency Management Agency CIO Ron Miller on detail at the office.
