FDA awards compliance system contract to SRA

The Food and Drug Administration has awarded a $2 million, 11-month contract to SRA International Inc. to develop a system that will help the agency's Office of Regulatory Affairs regulate foreign and domestic products.

The Fairfax, Va., company will develop the requirements and architecture for the Mission Accomplishment and Regulatory Compliance System.

The company will build the system to fit in with the agency's technical architecture and security plans. In planning the system, SRA also will study other FDA systems, its business processes and comments from users.
