Paper wranglers get certification nod from DOD

An online document management product from two merging companies has met Defense Department 5015.2-Std requirements for electronic record-keeping.

Documentum Inc. of Pleasanton, Calif., and TrueArc Inc. of Arlington, Va., hope the new certification'and their pending merger'will open federal doors for their software, which manages documents from creation through storage. The certification is for TrueArc's ForeMost Enterprise 3.0 with Documentum versions 4.3 and 5.1.
