The Financial Management Service has awarded Savantage Solutions Inc. a one-year, $1.2 million contract to help consolidate financial information for the government.
The Rockville, Md., company will provide its Federal Financial Management System tool and consulting services. The Treasury Department agency will use FFMS in combination with its Oracle Corp. database management system to generate financial statements and footnotes for reports that comply with the government's accounting standards.
Savantage created FFMS using Structured Query Language and Oracle development tools, chief executive officer Lisa Kazor said.
