GSA PBS hires NCI for technical support

The General Services Administration's Public Building Service has awarded NCI Information Systems Inc. of McLean, Va., a three-year contract for program, configuration and enterprise management and quality assurance support.
Under the $4.1 million contract announced this week, NCI will help PBS develop an enterprisewide performance-based assurance program, which includes enterprise quality, quality assurance and independent verification and validation plans.
PBS also will receive support of its library database to track third party software licenses and all associated documentation.
NCI also will provide document imaging support using LaserFiche Document Imaging application from Compulink Management Center Inc. of Long Beach, Calif. PBS employees can control all scanning, indexing, directory, storage and archiving of images through the Web client-server software.
