The Treasury Department has honored Daniel Clark, a personnel management specialist with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms' Office of Management, for his work in developing HR Connect, the agency's Web personnel system.

The project was started in 1997 and involved customizing software from PeopleSoft Inc. It was developed at ATF in conjunction with Treasury's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and went live in 1999. ATF has since moved from Treasury to the Justice Department as a result of the Homeland Security Bill.

Ronald L. Dick, former director of the FBI's National Infrastructure Protection Center, has joined Computer Sciences Corp. as its director of information assurance strategic initiatives.

A half-dozen one-time government IT executives have joined the government advisory board of SeeBeyond Technology Corp. of Monrovia, Calif.

Members of the board include William S. Carrier III of Northrop Grumman Information Technology, formerly of the Army; Renato A. DiPentima, president of consulting and systems integration for SRA International Inc., formerly Social Security Administration CIO; Harold F. Gracey Jr. of PEC Solutions Inc., former Veterans Affairs Department CIO; Michael J. Mestrovich, CEO of Unlimited New Dimensions LLC, formerly of the Defense Department; George R. Molaski, CEO of e-Associates LLC, former Transportation Department CIO, and Robert J. Woods, president of education services for ACS Government Services Group, formerly of the Federal Aviation Administration and other government agencies.
