Laura Callahan, deputy CIO of the Labor Department, will become the deputy CIO of the Homeland Security Department at the end of March, sources told GCN.
In addition, the sources said, Frank Libutti soon will be nominated to be undersecretary for information assurance and infrastructure protection. Libutti is New York City's counterterrorism director. Ron Miller, former CIO of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will move from his position in the department's CIO office to a policymaking position at the Small Business Administration, the sources said.
HSD spokesmen and the officials involved in the personnel changes were not available for comment.
