GSA and FGIPC launch newsletter

The General Services Administration and Federal Government Information Processing Councils have teamed up to start a newsletter covering the latest procurement initiatives at the agency.

The GSA Steps newsletter, spearheaded by the Office of Contract Management in GSA's Federal Supply Service, is being distributed to companies that do business through FSS schedule contracts.

The first four-page newsletter included stories about the reduction of the Industrial Funding Fee, plans to let state and local governments use the IT Schedule, consolidation of some FSS and Federal Technology Service programs, and FSS contractor satisfaction survey.
