DISA chooses Securify suite

The Defense Information Systems Agency today contracted with Securify Inc. for a suite of security applications to oversee traffic on the military command and control networks being used in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The SecurVantage product suite chosen by DISA automates security management. Apps include SecurVantage Studio for policy development, SecurVantage Monitor for analysis, and SecurVantage Enterprise for aggregating and reporting. Together they impose a set of requirements with which all network traffic must comply.

"The DISA deployment will provide combatant commanders with real-time security information,' said a statement from Carl Wright, vice president of federal operations for Securify of Mountain View, Calif. 'The SecurVantage product line delivers a significantly enhanced information assurance picture."
