SAIC to accept bids for GIG-BE support work

Science Applications International Corp. has issued a solicitation for hardware and software products to support the Global Information Grid-Bandwidth Expansion program.

SAIC, working as a prime contractor under the Defense Information Systems Network Global Solutions Contract, released a request for proposals for four equipment areas: core and edge IP routers, multiservice provisioning platforms, optical transport systems and optical digital cross-connect switches.

The RFP can be found at www.dss-global.com. Proposals are due by June 23.
