The Agriculture Department is piloting WorkLenz 4.1 to show managers how their projects fit into the IT capital asset portfolio.
WorkLenz from M'tier Ltd. of Washington helps automate the preparation of Exhibit 300s'the business case and capital planning documents that agencies must send to the Office of Management and Budget with their budget submissions.
Gregory Parham, USDA's associate CIO for IRM, said the dashboard-style, browser-based WorkLenz display shows cost, scheduling and performance metrics.
WorkLenz uses the Microsoft .Net architecture for Web services, said Douglas Clark, M'tier's chief executive officer.
