Army Reserve inks data center deal

The Army Reserve Command in Atlanta has awarded a $40 million contract to Anteon International Corp. to design, develop, implement and operate primary and backup enterprise data centers.

Anteon will integrate and consolidate existing business, desktop management and Web applications into a single IT environment that will comply with the Army Reserve Network II concept of operations, according to a company release.

The contract is for one base year and includes four option years. Computer Associates is a subcontractor to Anteon.
