Butler is named Air Force deputy CIO

Brig. Gen. Bradley Butler will become the new Air Force deputy CIO on Sept. 8, reporting to CIO John Gilligan.

Butler has been stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., for the last four years, serving as assistant program manager for the Airborne Warning and Control System, program director for C2 Constellation and deputy commander for command, control, computers, communications and intelligence enterprise integration.

Gilligan was not available for comment.
