MPC Computers LLC of Nampa, Idaho, has acquired the end-user division of Omni Tech Corp.
The value of the deal, which is effectively immediately, was not disclosed. Omni Tech will retain its dedicated computing division, MPC said.
Omni Tech of Pewaukee, Wis., is a segment-focused PC company with a primary focus on state and local government, education and midsize commercial markets. MPC has a similar strategy focusing on the federal government and midmarket business segments.
The operations of the newly acquired division will be folded into those of MPC during the next 60 days. No immediate changes are planned to Omni Tech's product lines or service programs, MPC said.
