The Army has awarded a $7.6 million task order to Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Solutions LLC of Vienna, Va., to support the Army Enterprise Integration Oversight Office.
The Army's Information Technology E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center awarded the task order, which will run for three years if all options are exercised.
The AEIOO was established last fall by Army Secretary Thomas White to define 'an overarching strategy and framework for the Army's business processes in the context of the current force modernization transformation to the Objective Force,' according to an Army announcement.
The framework crosses all Army business areas, from logistics and acquisition to budget and finance. The strategy will eventually be integrated with the Defense Department's Business Management Modernization Program.
