NAVAIR hires support for simulation division

The weapons division of the Naval Air Systems Command Warfare Center in China Lake, Calif., has awarded a $36 million task order to Lockheed Martin Corp. to support the Combat Environment Simulation division.

The engineers will design, develop, install, integrate, test and evaluate systems for the division, including the threat emitter systems. The threat emitter systems will be deployed on Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Air Training Ranges.

NAVAIR develops integrated warfare systems and offers lifecycle support.
