JFMIP gives nod to four financial apps

The Joint Financial Management Improvement Program has recertified four core financial applications for use by agencies.

The previous certifications, which covered eight products from seven vendors, expired June 30. Vendors had to receive new certification under revised requirements for upgrades that JFMIP issued in 2001, JFMIP executive director Karen Cleary Alderman said.

The new certifications will remain in effect for three years for these applications: AMS Momentum 5.0 from American Management Systems Inc. of Fairfax, Va.; IFMIS Version 6.0 from Digital Systems Group Inc. of Warminster, Pa.; Oracle E-Business Suite 11i, Version 11i.9, from Oracle Corp.; and MySAP ERP Version 4.7 with Enterprise Add-On for Public Sector and Extension Set from SAP Public Services Inc. of Washington.
