Navy hires DDK to help with modernization

The Navy has awarded a $18.9 million contract to DDK Technology Group Inc. of Bowie, Md., to provide systems engineering and computer forensic expertise to support the agency's modernization goals.

The five-year contract, announced today, supports the Navy's Operations and Maintenance Modernization Plan, according to a company release.

DDK will offer process re-engineering, database engineering, application administration, Web design, and computer and network forensics services.

'DDK will enhance the Department of the Navy's ability to effectively respond to and counter computer-based threats to Navy assets and information by automating procedures and tools,' according to company officials.
