Military commands award modernization contract

SI International Inc. received an $11 million engineering and technical services contract today to support command and control systems modernization at three military commands.

The Reston, Va., company will develop, test, field and maintain the next generation Combatant Commander's Integrated Command and Control System at the North American Aerospace Defense Command, U.S. Strategic Command and Air Force Space Command.

The competitive task order, which includes a 14-month base period and one-year option, was awarded through the Federal Technology Service's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center under the Millennia Lite contract vehicle.
