CSC wins Navy deal

The Naval Sea Systems Command has awarded Computer Sciences Corp. an $88 million task order to provide services for its Future Concepts and Surface Ship Design Group.

Under the task order, which runs for one base year and four option years, CSC will provide support in numerous areas, including naval architecture, engineering, ship design project management, site support and technical library management.

The Future Concepts and Surface Ship Design Group is the Naval Sea Systems Command's technical authority for all surface ship design and engineering.
