The prime contractor to the Defense Integrated Military Human Resources System has awarded a $330,000 contract to M'tier Ltd. of Washington, D.C., for advanced portfolio management to develop and deploy DIMHRS.
Under the subcontract announced yesterday, M'tier will provide a portfolio view of performance across the nine-year program, officials said.
M'tier's WorkLenz system will aggregate project data, such as cost and schedule information, from DIMHRS' existing systems to come up with statistical forecasting and earned-value metrics.
In September, the Defense Department awarded the $281 million DIMHRS prime contract to Northrop Grumman Corp.
DIMHRS will consolidate pay and personnel systems for 3.1 million active-duty, Reserve and National Guard military units. DOD expects the system to replace roughly 88 personnel and pay systems when it's fully operational in 2007.
