NAVAIR awards management, support contract

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded a multi-million dollar contract to Anteon International Corp. of Fairfax, Va., for program management and technical support services.

The five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is potentially worth $460 million if all options are exercised.

Anteon will provide a range of services, including research, design, development, engineering, procurement, test and evaluation, training, and logistics support to NAVAIR headquarters, program executive offices and field affiliates, according to a company release.

The services will be provided during all acquisition phases of Navy aircraft and aviation weapons systems.
