DHS taps Anteon for support work

The Homeland Security Department has awarded integrator Anteon International Corp. of Fairfax, Va., a contract to provide IT services to the Coast Guard.

The five-year blanket purchasing agreement could be worth as much as $48 million for Anteon, according to the company.

Anteon will offer a range of support services under this contract, including systems integration support, network design and engineering and technology evaluation.

The first task that the Coast guard assigned to Anteon is a $15.7 million job to provide enterprise engineering and management services to the Coast Guard's Telecommunications and Information Systems Command.
