What does it take to have great leadership? Some of the federal government's best leaders took a crack at this question recently at the GCN Management Leadership Awards and Conference in Washington.

Rear Adm. Patrick Stillman, program executive officer of the Coast Guard's Integrated Deepwater Program, and Patrick Schambach, the soon-to-depart Transportation Security Administration CIO, agreed that humility is a necessity.
