The former chief of information sharing services with the Defense Information Systems Agency has accepted a job with Xacta Corp. as deputy director for programs.

At Xacta, Ronald J. Dorman will be responsible for coordinating the company's enterprise messaging security solutions for the intelligence and defense communities.

Dorman started working in DISA in 1999 and has served in multiple jobs, including principal director of interoperability, deputy director of the Defense Department's public-key infrastructure program, chief of information assurance capabilities and deputy director for C4 programs.

'Our customers will benefit enormously from Ron's background in enterprise IT security and information assurance,' said Ed Williams, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Xacta, based in Ashburn, Va.
