A happy fourth for FirstGov

Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) praises FirstGov's progress to date.

The FirstGov.gov portal marked its fourth anniversary this month with a semiformal affair in the State Department's diplomatic reception room (tuxedoed waiters provided the formal part of the equation). M.J. Jameson, the General Services Administration's associate administrator for citizen services and communications, discussed the next steps for the portal.

From left, HUD chief technology officer Gloria Parker, former fed Ron Miller of SRA International Inc. and Small Business Administration deputy CIO Jerry Williams get together before the program kicks off.
