Defense Taps SRA for missile defense support

SRA International Inc. of Fairfax, Va., will provide engineering and IT services to support an enterprise information management system at the Defense Department's Missile Defense Agency.
The General Services Administration's Federal System Integration and Management Center awarded the five-year, $86.4 million task order under its Millenia vehicle. SRA and a team of subcontractors will provide program management, IT management and development, systems engineering, strategic and implementation planning, enterprise architecture maintenance and enhancement, and IT training services.
SRA's subcontractors include Anteon International Corp. of Fairfax, Va.; the Ambit Group of Australia; EagleForce Associates of McLean, Va.; Miltec Corp. of Huntsville, Ala.; Phacil Inc. of Camden, N.J.; and SNVC of Fairfax, Va.
SRA has been under contract since 2002 to provide information architecture and engineering support to establish the enterprise information management system for MDA. The system helps MDA better organize, retrieve, secure and store business and mission information, according to a company release.
