Navy to pay Anteon $47M for PEO IWS program management support

The Navy has hired Anteon International Corp. to provide program management support to its Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems under a five-year, $47 million contract.

The Fairfax, Va., company also will conduct systems engineering and financial management services supporting the executive office, corporate and financial operations and Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration efforts within PEO IWS.

The mission of PEO IWS is to provide engineering and acquisition support in the development and procurement of combat systems.

'This contract award offers Anteon the opportunity to further expand its comprehensive support to the Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command, affiliated Program Executive Offices and the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy,' said Dan Johnson, Anteon chief operating officer, in a company release.

Johnson added: 'We are proud to be an important part of the Navy's efforts to deliver enterprise solutions for Naval warfare systems that operate seamlessly and effectively within the Fleet and Joint Force.'
