Education awards CSC $176 million network services contract

The Education Department awarded Computer Sciences Corp. a $176 million management support services contract for its Education network infrastructure.

CSC will provide IT support services, infrastructure server management, e-mail accounts, security and program management, Education said yesterday in its posting on FedBizOpps.

The contract, which the General Services Administration's Federal Supply Schedule awarded, has a duration of up to 10 years if Education exercises all options.

Science Applications International Corp. was the incumbent contractor.
