Donley tapped for DOD management planning post

The Office of the Secretary of Defense has named Michael B. Donley director of administration and management.
With more than 26 years of experience in the national-security arena, including service in the Senate, White House and the Pentagon, Donley becomes the principal staff assistant to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld for DOD organizational and management planning.
Donley replaces Raymond F. DuBois, acting undersecretary of the Army, who had served as director of administration and management since October 2002.
In his new position, Donley will oversee the DOD Freedom of Information and Privacy procedures, and historical and IT programs for OSD.
Donley also is in charge of the ongoing Pentagon renovation and construction program. In addition, Donley is responsible for Washington Headquarters Services and provides oversight of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency.
