New Mexico chooses Maximus for ERP implementation

Maximus Inc. won a two-year, $14 million contract from the state of New Mexico to implement enterprise resource planning software, the company announced today. The contract has a four-year option, the value of which was not disclosed.

Under the contract Maximus of Reston, Va., will install, configure, test and deploy a PeopleSoft ERP system that will support New Mexico's Statewide Human Resource, Accounting and Management Reporting System. The system will allow state officials to enter data once and apply it to a variety of situations, the company said.

The statewide ERP project will provide basic and expanded financial, human resource, payroll and purchasing functionality to the New Mexico government. Maximus has built ERP systems for other states, including North Dakota, Indiana and Oklahoma.
