Beaugureau named special assistant at DISA

The Defense Information Systems Agency has appointed Denny Beaugureau as its special assistant for transformation to the director of testing.

Beaugureau, the former deputy to the commander of the Joint Interoperability Test Command at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., was appointed to 'help transform DISA's testing directorate into the joint net-centric systems tester of choice,' according to an agency release.

He will report to Steven Hutchison, DISA's director of testing.

'We're transforming the way we test information systems for the Defense Department. We're going to use Denny's knowledge and experiences to help achieve our goal of being the department's premier testing organization for net-centric systems,' Hutchison said.

Beaugureau holds a master's degree in management information systems. He is also a graduate of Harvard University's Delivering Information Services course.
