Everett to be acting chief of GSA's National Capital Region

The General Services Administration has named Annie Wiggins Everett as acting regional administrator for GSA's National Capital Region (NCR). She will replace Donald Williams, who is scheduled to leave the post Dec. 9.

Everett, currently the deputy administrator for the same region, also served as acting chief from Jan. 20 through Dec. 2, 2001.

She has more than 30 years of federal experience, including stints as the deputy assistant regional administrator of NCR's Public Buildings Service, chief of staff for the service at GSA's central office, and director of GSA's child care program office.
