ESRI has introduced ArcWeb Services 2006, a set of application programming interfaces that will allow developers to add mapping and geospatial information to their Web applications. The product now includes a Java 2 Platform Micro Edition Wireless Toolkit for developing wireless applications .... NFR Security Inc. of Rockville, Md., is touting what it calls the first 10-gigabit intrusion prevention sensor, the ES5000. The ES5000 includes the company's Dynamic Shielding Architecture, which helps protect against 'zero-day' attacks. The system is expected out this quarter; pricing is not yet available. NFR holds several Common Criteria certifications.
