The Apache Software Foundation released Version 2.2 of Apache Web server. 'We consider this release to be the best version of Apache available and encourage users of all prior versions to upgrade,' wrote developer Paul Querna on the project's mailing list. New features: smart filtering, support for files larger than 2GB, SQL database support and load balancing for proxies.
