Treasury awards $15 million validation contract

The Treasury Department has awarded a $15 million contract to G&B Solutions Inc. of McLean, Va., to provide independent verification and validation support services to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract vehicle has a one-year base and four option year periods, with an estimated total value of $3 million annually or $15 million over the life of the contract.

The vendor will provide program reviews, risk analysis, verification of likely project outcomes versus contractual requirements, and independent testing where appropriate. G&B Solutions has ISO 9001:2000 certification, a set of quality management standards from the International Organization for Standardization, a network of national standards organizations around the world.
