Intel Corp. of Santa Clara, Calif., has announced plans to release a line of processors aimed specifically at office desktop computers. Branded
vPro, this line of CPUs will be tailored to use less energy, offer remote management capabilities and enhance security, Intel CEO Paul Otellini said during a teleconference. Using Intel's dual-core microprocessor architecture, the new chips will be introduced this fall.
