AtTask Inc. of Orem, Utah, has rolled out AtTask Version 4, what the company calls a 'pluggable' project management system that is platform, database and browser independent.The Java-based system supports Oracle, MySQL and SQL Server databases, plus Apache and IIS. AtTask also supports Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP, Linux, Mac OS X and Unix. Officials say the software has been completely redesigned and includes better tracking, reporting and project routing tools. It can run as an on-demand service or hosted in-house.
