Tool for Unix programmers

Open-source developer Bram Moolenaar has released Version 7 of Vim (www.vim.org), an updated version of the ultrapopular Vi Unix text editor. It features an improved undo function, which allows you to roll a file back to an earlier specified time. A new spell-checker evaluates words as you type them. Also new are a tabbed interface that allows users to work in multiple files at once and an autocompletion function for a wide variety of programming and markup languages.
