GCN Tech brief

Tumbleweed Communications Corp. (www.tumbleweed.com) of Redwood City, Calif., received Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 3 certification for its Tumbleweed Validation Authority suite. Tumbleweed makes public-key infrastructure software for e-mail security, file transfer security, and identity validation. The Defense and Homeland Security departments, among others, use Tumbleweed Validation Authority for PKI transactions.
