Montana re-ups ACS for Medicaid fiscal services

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services awarded Affiliated Computer Services Inc. a 58-month contract worth $29 million to continue delivering Medicaid fiscal agent and associated services.

ACS of Dallas will continue processing claims for the state's Medicaid and Mental Health Services Plan, and will handle systems development and maintenance, Web services, decision support services, and fraud and abuse detection and recovery.

The company also will supply call-center support, program policy support and third-party recovery services.

For the state's children's health insurance plan, ACS will process eyeglass and dental claims.

ACS processes more than 7 million claims annually for the state's Medicaid and Mental Health Services Plan.
