Army awards logistical analysis, support contract

The Army has awarded a $175 million blanket purchasing agreement for logistics services to support Tank-Automotive Command directorates.

The TACOM Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) Omnibus Services contract went to MTC Technologies Inc. of Dayton, Ohio; DUCOM Inc. of Silver Spring, Md.; and Camber Corp. of Huntsville, Ala. The task order contract is for four years.

Vendors will provide logistical analysis and support for TACOM Life Cycle Management Command ILSC, allowing it to carry out its responsibility of sustaining the Army's ground systems inventory, according to Daniel Bigelow, director of investor relations and corporate communication of MTC.

Bigelow said support services also could include:
  • Technical publications
  • Maintenance
  • Supply/readiness studies
  • Reset integration
  • Fielding and operations.
