Air Systems work to remain with General Dynamics

Three contracts to provide acquisition logistics support to the Naval Air Systems Command have been awarded to General Dynamics Information Technology. The awards are worth about $90 million over five years.

The company will furnish the services to the F/A-18 program director for logistics, the H-53 assistant program manager for logistics and the H-60 assistant program manager of logistics.

The contracts continue General Dynamics' logistics support to one of the Navy's largest aviation programs for the past six years under the AIR 3.1 Omnibus Logistics contract.

Company employees will perform the work at locations in Huntsville, Ala., Lemoore and North Island, Calif., Panama City, Fla., Patuxent River, Md., Cherry Point, N.C., Philadelphia and Norfolk, Va.
