GCN tech brief

Adobe Systems Inc. of San Jose, Calif., is adding support for Flash into version 7.0.2 of ColdFusion, its application server software. Flash applications will be able to exchange data with a ColdFusion server, using either remote procedure calls or a method where the server pushes information to the remote clients, said Tim Buntel, Adobe senior product marketing manager. Customers who are running version 7 of ColdFusion can update to version 7.0.2 at no cost.
