iWay Software, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Information Builders Inc. of New York, has introduced an adapter for converting data between legacy databases and the Global Justice XML Data Model.

The iWay Justice XML Adapter can be used as a standalone tool or as part of IWay's Integrated Justice Suite, a data sharing platform.

BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Va., used this adapter to set up a criminal justice system for the city of New York, according to Kevin Mergruen, vice president of public sector sales for Information Builders.
