Open Text Corp. of Waterloo, Ontario, has acquired service provider Momentum Systems Inc. Momentum has expertise in customizing Open Text's LiveLink ECM to particular government needs, such as lease and correction management. Open Text plans to use the Arlington, Va.-based Momentum'which will remain a wholly owned subsidiary'for work with U.S. intelligence agencies requiring a U.S. company with security-cleared personnel, said Bailey Spencer, Open Text's vice president of the global public sector. Momentum could help the agencies or their supporting integrators deploy LiveLink as a thin-client collaboration tool.
