The retention struggle

Forrester Research has released a report showing that most large organizations struggle with implementing adequate data-retention policies. Researchers interviewed staff members at 25 organizations bringing in $1 billion or more a year and found most are not able to meet the requirements of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. According to the report, many organizations have made the mistake of thinking that deploying records management or e-mail archiving technology solves all their problems. Others haven't deployed any technology at all.
